Our Providers

NHS Scarborough and Ryedale CCG commissions a range of providers to deliver local health services.

Our main provider of hospital services, such as diagnostics and operations, is York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The trust also provides emergency care.

Patient transport – emergency and non-emergency – is provided by Yorkshire Ambulance Service, while many of our community services are provided by Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust.

Mental health services in Scarborough and Ryedale are provided predominantly by Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust.

The Contract Monitoring Board meets on a regular basis with providers and monitors performance against indicators that are mandated through NHS England and with the NHS Constitution.

The Quality and Performance Team provide an overview of the Quality and Outcomes to the Governing Body on a quarterly basis. The main focus of the report continues to be related to NHS constitution standards and the Outcomes Framework and starts with summaries of performance relating to the Improvement and Assessment Framework (IAF).
