Commissioning Integrated Community Services (MCP Services)

Scarborough and Ryedale Multi Speciality Community Services Provider (MCP)

NHS Scarborough and Ryedale Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has appointed Humber NHS Foundation Trust (FT) as the preferred bidder for delivering an Integrated Prevention, Community Care and Support service for Adults.

The £80.6 million contract, which has the potential to run for seven years, includes community nursing, physiotherapy and occupational therapy, plus specialist nursing and other therapies in the first year, and continuing healthcare assessments, frailty, and elderly medicine outpatients from year two.

The announcement of the successful bidder follows a rigorous procurement and evaluation exercise which saw Humber NHS FT and two other organisations invited to remain in the tendering process and put forward detailed proposals on how they would deliver the contract.
