NHS Scarborough and Ryedale Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) supports a GP exercise referral scheme, provided by Everyone Active. The exercise referral scheme allows health professions to refer individuals with a variety of medical conditions and a history of sedentary lifestyle, who would never normally consider participating in regular physical activity, to a short-term, personalised programme of physical activity, aimed at encouraging long-term lifestyle changes.
